Principios de septiembre y ya se ha celebrado en Chicago la <b>WorldCon 2012</b>,
la Convención más importante del mundo de la ciencia ficción y
fantasía. Como plato fuerte de estas WorldCon se encuentra la ceremonia
de entrega de los Premios Hugo, uno de los más importantes de la
literatura de género, entregados por la Sociedad de escritores de
ciencia ficción y fantasía.<br />
Este año tampoco ha habido suerte para George R.R. Martin y la entrega pertinente de ‘<b>Canción de Hielo y Fuego</b>‘. ‘Danza de Dragones’ queda como finalista a mejor novela, categoría que gana <b>‘Among Others’, de Jo Walton</b>.
Lo que sí que gana la saga de Martin es el premio Hugo a mejor
presentación dramática en formato largo por toda la primera temporada de
‘Juego de Tronos’. En formato corto repite, otro año más, ‘<b>Doctor Who</b>‘ con el magnífico ‘The Doctor’s Wife’, escrito por Neil Gaiman.<br />
